Multimedia Marketing Basics: How to Create Effective Videos that Bring Big Traffic
This video will show you how to give your videos and other marketing materials the punch they need to stand out and gather a loyal following of viewers and customers.
Notes:
I’m currently researching the best video cameras to use when shooting video for the web. Most the people on YouTube use consumer digital cameras with video capabilities or webcams attached to their computers.
To create the screen capture videos you see on this web site, I use Techsmith’s Camtasia software version 5 (from what I’ve been told you can get Camtasia 3 for free–I haven’t researched this). Alternatives are Jing (free video capture–also from Techsmith) and I hear Macintosh’s iMovie has screen capture software.
To edit videos you should have iMovie (Mac) or Windows Movie Maker (PC) on your computer (comes free with your system).
Most of these programs are free, which means they may not generate high quality video. But like I said in the tutorial above, the thing that makes the difference it not so much how professional things look but it’s the quality of the information you provide that counts the most.
Other tutorials on this site will address video quality as well as the quality of the information you present. Stay tuned…
